PFAS supports Audio Perpetua at Goodpitch2 Jakarta, Indonesia
At the Goethe Institut in Jakarta, Indonesia last May 4, 2017 over a hundred delegates from around the world participated and pledged to support four documentary films that can bring an impact to society.
Goodpitch brings together documentary filmmakers with foundations, NGOs, campaigners, philanthropists, policymakers, brands and media around leading social and environmental issues - to forge coalitions and campaigns that are good for all partners, for films and for society.
Impact goals presented during the conference:
To increase awareness about tech-abled, visually-impaired individuals so more trainings and job opportunities are created to include them.
To inspire non-sighted communities around the world so they can adopt the teaching method used by ATRIEV to empower blind communities.
To encourage and improve government legislations and policies for people with disabilities in the Philippines, in Southeast Asia and beyond.
With fellow cultural workers and through programs such as Touch the Artist’s Vision, we see great potential for the sight impaired to work as creatives, educators or guides in art institutions. We enthusiastically endorse this film to our partners whose platforms train the blind to give chance for employment and encourage inclusion of the visually impaired especially in the arts.
